WE NEED YOUR HELP!!

Inspired by Grayson’s Art Club (on Channel 4) we are launching our lockdown community project to enter into week 4 of Grayson’s second series, which is on the theme of DREAMS!

I am dreaming of the day when the space is open and buzzing, people are celebrating, socialising, laughing, singing, dancing, painting, exercising, shooting, drawing, writing, learning…

OUR BIG IDEA

Our aim is to fill the entire floor of the main space on Wednesday 24th February with anything and everything that reminds YOU of the space.

It could be an old invitation to a party here, any photos you have, equipment used for classes, your yoga mat, art club artwork you’ve kept, your favourite song, a sound bite of you from a class or talking about the space…

HOW CAN YOU HELP?

We would love you to drop off anything you have which reminds YOU of the space before Sunday 21st February. Details of how and when to drop them off below.

OR

Print out or collect the activity sheet below and draw a picture of you doing something you can’t wait to do in the space when it reopens. It could be a party, hanging out with your best friends, art club, pilates, yoga, a shoot, a meeting, a baby shower, a workshop... anything!

Then drop it back to us or take a photo/scan and email it to me at charlie@themillhousehertford.com by Sunday 21st February.

WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO WITH ALL THIS STUFF?

We will bring all your dreams into the space combining them into one big dream of us all being back together again.

We will lay everything out across the floor, fill the room with the sound of classes, people talking and music, along with all the physical items you’ve dropped off, covering the floor.

AND THE BEST BIT…

When this is all over, we will hold an exhibition and a BIG party down here showcasing everyone’s amazing work! Celebrating, laughing, playing, drinking and dancing altogether in one space. I can’t wait.
